Birthday

Sunday, October 26th, 2008

Today is October 26th and it is my 53rd birthday. Wow, how time flies. I remember as a child my grandma Jarrell telling me one day as she gather wood. “The older you get the faster time flies” I didn’t understand it then but I certainly do now!

Life has been great for me, looking back there were many trials and valleys in my life. But overall it has been great. If you dwell on the trials and the misfortunes in life, you will generally be a sad person. You will come away from life with a void inside you. Life is like a mission trip. I tell my team members that even though there may have been daily struggles to accomplish the weeks goals, at the end of the week if the goals were achieved the trials didn’t matter. Life is the same way. At the end of life did we accomplish the things that meant the most to us. Did we walk out and accomplish the plan that God gave us for our lives?

I have had times in my life when I was financially broke, but my spirit was not. Times when mentally I could not think clearly, but my spirit was never broken. Times when I was exhausted physically, mentally, emotionally to the point of contemplating suicide, but my spirit was never broken. My earthly man was crashing down around me, but my spirit man knew there was still things I needed to accomplish, places I needed to go, people to meet. There are more hungry children that need to be feed, sinners that need a savior, baby Christians that need to be taught the Word of God.

At 53 years old, I know more than ever that God has a plan for my life and He is not through with me. My desire is to work harder and do more in the last days of my life. I believe the best days are ahead for me and my family. I look forward to the day when I can lay down this earthly suite I wear and put on my immortal eternal suite, but there are many things to accomplish before that time arrives. I long to go, but not before I am expected! The Bible promises me long life and a life full of abundance and blessings. I choose that life!

Keep praying for  me and this ministry. Our vision is continually growing. Keep checking this website and blog site for more information about this ministry.

Nicaragua Pastors Conference

Monday, October 20th, 2008

We just returned from Managua Nicaragua where we conducted a 3 day pastors conference. God showed up in a mighty way. We had 189 pastors and church leaders register at the conference. I will have pictures and video posted on my website with in a few days. We conducted services each night in homes and churches throughout Managua and surrounding communities. We were blessed with many salvations, rededications, healings and people being Baptised in the Holy Spirit.

This was the best Pastor’s conference we have conducted so far. I want to thank Pastor W.C. Cobb, Pastor Joe Hernandez, Evangelist Steve Helton, Missionaries Jack and Beverly Grondin for their help with this conference.

The next Nicaragua Pastor Conference will be the first week of March 2009. We are already looking forward to seeing what God will do during the next trip.

Pray and see if God will allow you the honor of joining us on one of our trips next year. We have 17 trips planned so far. Trips are already scheduled to Haiti, Guyana and Nicaragua. Come and be a part of what God is doing around the world.
